What is humic acid, and why is it good for the soil?

Humic acid is a natural, carbon-rich organic substance that increases the soil’s nutrient- and water-holding capacity, supports root development, and restores soil life. The HUMINnova system uses pure, minimum 60% concentration, fully water-soluble humic acid.

What crops can the system be used with?

Practically any crop: in vineyards, orchards, market gardens, field crops, and greenhouse cultivation alike, in organic, no-till, and conventional farming.

How and when should HUMIN AQUA be applied?

The HUMIN AQUA soil conditioner is applied once a year, in spring or autumn, into the top 10 cm layer of soil, at a rate of 40–100 liters per hectare with a 20x dilution. It can be applied easily with standard agricultural equipment (e.g. sprayers, irrigation systems), without the need for precision tools.

Can it be combined with chemical or fertilizer-based farming?

Yes. The HUMINnova system can also be used on conventional farms and can be freely combined with other products — a prior compatibility test is recommended. It is also approved for use in organic farming.

How long does it take to see results?

Humic acid acts quickly: the division time of soil bacteria can shorten within just a few days, while visible plant changes and yield increases typically appear over the course of the given growing season.

Is the product safe for bees and the environment?

Yes, HUMINnova’s products carry a bee-friendly certification, so they can also be used during flowering. The concentrate contains no living organisms or chemical pesticides, so it is also approved for use on organic and agri-environmental (AKG) designated areas.
